| Damascus Sports Association - About DSA |

The Damascus Sports Association, Inc. is an organization consisting of dues paying adults.
The organization is administered by a Board of Directors consisting of a President, Vice President,
Treasurer, Information Officer, Secretary, Financial Assistant, and four (4) Directors. The Financial
Assistant's position is a paid position. This person's position has no voting rights on the Board. All
shall serve a term of one (1) year, except for the at-large Directors, which shall be two (2) years,
unless removed or resigned, commencing on July 1, and ending June 30. No member shall serve more that
three (3) consecutive years in any one elected office, except the at-large Directors, which are limited
to four (4) years. No member may hold more than one elected position simultaneously, while on the Board
Of Directors.

| Damascus Sports Association - Our Purpose |

The Damascus Sports Association, Inc., herein referred to as the (Association) recognizing that a child’s social
development is inextricably woven with his or her emotional and intellectual growth, and influenced as well by his
or her physical development was formed as a non-profit organization with the following specific purposes:
"Coaches Creed"
To assist each and every child to acquire healthy and social concepts and attitudes.
To provide the children with a vehicle that will enable then to fulfill their individual achievement needs.
To provide each and every child a challenge while affording him or her an opportunity to set realistic goals which are
attainable.
To build into each child the life habits of regularity, moderation, obedience, self control, competition, teamwork and
good citizenship.
The vehicle chosen by the Association for the attainment of the above goals is organized well-coached sports. All
other goals, objectives, or purposes established by the Association, shall be deemed secondary to those enumerated
above. Any and all conflicts will be resolved in the favor of the children. The "team concept" is recognized and shall
be adhered to over the individual; and winning, while important, shall never override the above goals.
In addition to the above "Coaches Creed", DSA has established a "Sportsmanship Creed". This shall be used as a guideline for the practice of good sportsmanship. "Every Damascus Sports Association player, coach, and parent will at all times demonstrate behavior that will uphold the good reputation of the association as a positive influence for our children, the team, and the community".

| Damascus Sports Association - Boundaries |

|
The boundaries for the Damascus Sports Association are defined as; those members having permanent residency within
the Damascus School Cluster which feed into Damascus High School. Members of the Association as of September 1, 1998
will be grand fathered. No grand fathering will occur after this date. Teams unable to fill a roster with DSA members,
may go outside the defined boundaries in order to fill a roster. This includes both "select and in-house teams". Those
children who reside outside the DSA boundaries and are allowed to participate in a DSA sport because of a shortage of
current DSA members, will not be grand fathered into the program at the completion of the sport.

| Damascus Sports Association - HotLine |
|
The Damascus Sports Association provides a hotline for the community to use as a resource to exchange information. If
you need to leave a message for a certain sport or need to receive more information, all you need to do is call the
hotline number and select the appropriate mailbox for that sport. The hotline mailboxes are checked on a weekly basis.
Also, this is used as a way for the Commissioner's of a sport to leave specific information (i.e. registration dates)
on the hotline for community awareness. If you have any questions or comments, please leave a message on the hotline.
